Mark Weber is a man of many talents. How many people do you know who have sung back-up for Kenny Loggins, wrote an article published in The National Enquirer, and appeared in a promotional spot for The 700 Club TV show?
Meanwhile, Weber has been interviewing hundreds of recording artists and celebrities for years. He has had over 700 articles published in various media, from Details magazine to Gospel Today. Some of his favorite interviewees have included Mary J. Blige, John Tesh, Dionne Warwick, and Charlie Daniels. Weber was once dubbed “the singing journalist,” as he has sung songs with artists such as Kurt Carr, Will McFarlane, Ashley Cleveland, and Anointed.
During much of the year, Weber is busy as the lead singer for Uptown, his pop-jazz trio, performing classic standards like “L-O-V-E” and “All of Me” in concert before appreciative audiences. As a singer-songwriter known for the Nat “King” Cole-sounding holiday song, “Who Wants To Cry At Christmas?,” Weber also keeps busy working on his own CD, “There Is A Hope.”
Having started his own email marketing company, Primo PR 716, Weber has been busy creating and distributing press releases and/or email marketing campaigns for nearly 20 clients at any given time. He has helped publicize many people, places, churches, ministries, events, musicians, concerts, and CD releases on a local, regional, national, and international level. He is closely associated with Kingdom Bound Christian Music Festival, having promoted it for the past few years on several TV and radio programs including AM Buffalo, Wake Up Rochester, TCT Alive, CrossRoads on Time Warner 13, and The Breakfast Club on 105.1, The River, in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Always networking people together, Weber owns and runs www.ChristianMusicMonthly.com and www.BuffaloChristian.com, which both have free email lists providing valuable information to thousands of recipients interested in Christian and Gospel music and events. In addition, he’s a frequent contributor to www.ThePraiseHouse.com and several newspapers, including Living Light News in Edmonton, Alberta.
Weber holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Psychology with a minor in Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, Weber earned his Master’s degree in Journalism from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In his spare time, you’ll find Weber skiing down the slopes, boating on the water, working out at the gym, or attending various concerts and events.
